Dissatisfaction gets derided as grumpiness, as being difficult to please, but what about if we consider the political sources and potential of the feeling? More specific than discontent, the OED defines dissatisfaction as ‚Äòwant of something to complete the wish.‚Äô The wish to live in a better world, say. It's about unmet or thwarted desire. That certainly can produce a malaise, but it might also become a goad to action. A march of the politically dissatisfied?!
